Making Greenville Stronger

NOAH Property Management and Greenville Together homeless housing

Greenville Together: A Home for All represents a powerful coalition in Greenville committed to making homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring. It's guided by a One-Year Action Plan to house 80 households by December 2025 and build a long-term, permanent infrastructure to reach "functional zero" for unsheltered homelessness

This multifaceted initiative is powered by local nonprofits, government agencies, business leaders, and voices with lived experience. Through its Community Task Force, Lived Experience Council, Steering Committee, and United Backbone Partnership, Greenville Together leverages data, empathy, and strategic partnerships to amplify its impact

As part of this, they launched a Housing Surge program, and that is where NOAH Property Management enters the picture as a partner. We have pledged at least five units at Vista West I for two years to the Housing Surge. NOAH Property Management’s contribution of dedicated units embodies the urgency and commitment at the heart of Greenville Together’s mission.

NOAH Property Management, spun out of and a partner with Affordable Upstate, was founded to mobilize and stabilize low-to-moderate income households -- especially those earning 60–80% of Area Median Income (AMI) Providing housing to vulnerable populations isn’t just a service it’s central to our purpose. By offering units specifically for homeless residents under the Housing Surge, NOAH Property Management gives immediate dignity and stability to people transitioning off the streets. Their long-term plans could expand further, signaling a lasting impact.

What is the NOAH Property Management difference? Here is what we do:

·       Flex Pay: Enables rushed or uneven paychecks to be balanced across two payments per month, reducing financial strain.

  • Positive Credit Reporting: Rent payments are reported to credit agencies, helping tenants build credit scores (+25 points average in 2024; +44 for multi-year participants).
  • Case Management Services: Piloted at sites such as Paris Park, these services connect residents to vital community resources (food, rental assistance).
  • 24/7 Live Support: NOAH’s tenant helpline ensures rapid response to maintenance, billing, and availability issues. This means no outsourcing, no delays.

This holistic toolkit helps not only those coming out of homelessness, but provides aid to tenants at risk of housing instability.

Greenville Together is forging a path to functional zero for unsheltered homelessness, and NOAH Property Management is a vital partner in that mission. Through concrete housing contributions, innovative resident tools, and unwavering support, they're helping anchor progress in an ecosystem of care.

By working together, Greenville is proving that ending homelessness isn't just aspirational, it’s achievable. And with continued collaboration, we can move from short-term fixes to lasting community transformation.
